The Young Actor’s Studio is currently accepting submissions for our New Play Festival. We are looking for plays that prominently feature roles for younger people (between the ages of 12-18).

We are committed to developing, supporting, and spotlighting new work that offers heartfelt, realistic, relevant, challenging material for young artists. We believe that young people are capable of doing great work, and are always looking for material that shares this belief.

Selected plays will be given a virtual public reading in the middle of December, and playwrights will receive a $500 honorarium.

Submission Guidelines:

The deadline for submissions is August 1st.

-Please email all submissions to literary@youngactorsstudio.com with the subject line New Play Festival.
