COVID 19 Safety Guidelines for The Young Actor’s Studio
Safety is the first priority at our studio. For this reason, please review the following safety guidelines we are implementing for this summer. Our entire staff will be vaccinated and fully prepared to help all of our students have a safe and creative time at the studio!
Here are some helpful resources that helped us in our planning.

State of California COVID 19 Guidance Checklist for Day Camps and Other Youth Activities
Entering the studio:
-Prior to arriving, guardians must fill out a brief questionnaire on our website ensuring that the student has not experienced any COVID related symptoms.
-Students will only be permitted to enter through the front as we will be keeping the backdoor gate locked during all studio hours.
-At this time, only students are allowed to enter the studio.
-Prior to entering the studio, students will have their temperature checked by a Young Actors Studio staff member using a contact free thermometer. Per CDC guidelines, anyone with a temperature above 100.4 will not be allowed in the building.
-Students must be wearing a face mask at all times (with the exception of designated break times for eating and drinking). Here is some helpful advice from the CDC regarding face masks.
-Students will be asked to wash their hands upon entering the studio, and then subsequently go straight to their assigned studio.
-Please let us know if a student is arriving late as the front door will be locked 15 minutes after the start of class.
We have specially marked areas in all of the studios for where students will be sitting/performing in order to maintain 6 feet of social distance.
Class sizes will be limited to 10 students to ensure social distancing can be maintained at all times.
Students will only interact will fellow classmates, and not with students in any of the other classes.
Windows and doors will remain open in each individual studio to ensure continuous air flow.
There are HEPA certified air filters in each of the studios.
Each individual studio will be sanitized before any group of students enters.
Each studio will have it’s own hand sanitizer station which students will use prior to leaving the studio.
Kids will be having lunch in our most ventilated studio with specially marked areas allowing them to have 6 feet social distance while eating.
This studio will be sanitized both before and after the lunch break.
Students must bring their own lunch as we will not allow food deliveries, or parents to drop off lunches during this time.
Teen students will be allowed to leave during the break- subject to guardian written permission.
Pick Up for Kids Classes
We will have a staff member present with all the students outside of the studio in the NoHo Plaza for pick-up. Please remain in your car, and we will walk your child to your vehicle.
We will provide you with a sign with your child’s name on the first day of camp. Please have this sign displayed so that our staff member can see it when walking your child to your car.
If you are running late for pick-up, please email us in advance. As we have unique staffing needs at this time, we will have to charge a $15 late fee for pick up.
