Character and Script Work for New Media
Saturdays OR Sundays 10AM-11:30AM;

Create your own characters and stories for the screen! Join the growing list of award-winning students who’ve written scripts based on the crazy, beautiful, fascinating world they experience. No writing experience necessary, all you need is a love for storytelling and bold, memorable characters. The Young Actor’s Studio has developed many award winning young writers, and amazing collaborations between actors and writers resulting in world premiere plays at major theaters and film festivals!
Acting Technique: Improvisation
Saturdays or Sundays 12PM-1:30PM; monthly classes starting June 6th/7th
Get ready to make a long loud sound with everything you’re feeling! On line Improvisation. The same exciting improvisation come vibrantly to life on the camera using the same techniques we do in class. Students learn about objectives, character prep and conflict. Huge improvs explode on line with the camera of the computer. New ONLINE COMPUTER IMPROVISATIONS around today’s situation will also be explored. Jeff will lead our actors to create something new with the situation and something lasting and strong!

Work one on one with one of the YAS instructors on getting some monologues, audition preparation, on-camera work, or just to continue developing your craft/technique.
