Summer Acting Program At The Young Actor's Studio
Two Week Camp
Introduction: This program is a fantastic way for students to begin developing a strong acting technique while also getting some valuable experience in front of a camera. Students will gain an appreciation of the craft of acting, and have a lot of fun in the process.
Program includes: Acting Technique, Comedy Improvisation, Acting on Camera. There will be a presentation at the end of the camp for friends, family, and people involved with The Young Actor’s Studio.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, July 12th- 24th. 9 am- 12 pm (3 hours daily)- extended care available
Tuition: $500.00
Application Deadline: April 15th, 2010
Class Size is limited to fifteen students.
Introduction: This 4 week camp will give students the extremely unique opportunity to work with a professional writer on creating a role especially written for them. Our commissioned writer will craft a play that will feature the students in this program. Past commissioned plays have been published in our book: Three New Plays for Young Actors fromThe Young Actor’s Studio. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to be fully involved in the process of bringing a completely original work to the stage.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, July 5th- July 30, 2010 (6 hours daily)- extended care available
Tuition: $1700 (if enrolling by March 1st)
