Our mission...

First and foremost, At our acting school in Los Angeles, our goal is to develop the young actor's craft. The young actor develops a technique that he or she can take into any medium, be it stage, screen, TV, or film.

At The Young Actor's Studio we offer acting classes in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area that encourage and praise the student for who they are and teach them to use their own behavior, personality and charm in the role.   They learn to create a unique original character that is truly their own.  In our acting classes we teach the student to use that very uniqueness in the role to stand out.   Through the Stanislavski system, the child or teen or young adult becomes fearless and gains a self esteem that can be applied to all areas of life.   The young actor will develop  a love for the work and with this the ability to survive and work as an actor, if that becomes his/her choice.

We believe in the students being the originators, being aunthentic and in working together as a team.

We believe that acting is an art form just like any other, like playing the piano, or learning ballet -- a specific technique is needed. We believe that the young actor trained in this technique will gain versatility, and with this, much more recognition in the industry. In addition, having a solid technique builds a young person's self-esteem, imagination and an ease with one's own emotionality that can be applied to any area of life.
